I bought 4 of these puck lights a few years ago and they would open very easily to change the bulb (just push up lightly and twist). I just bought 4 more last week and they are too difficult to open. You'll need to stick a small flat head screw driver between the light cover and housing and pry the light cover off. In doing this, you will surely scratch the painted surface of the light housing. Poor design change! They should go back to the original twisting design. |

Used these lights in many custom cabinets and wall units. Halogen and Zenon lights develop enough heat to scorch wood behind the light or melt plastics in front of it. If less than 1" clearance behind the light, place a piece of sheet metal on the wood above the light. Over-rate the transformer if you plan to operate the lights for a long period. The LED replacement bulbs / modules don't hold a candle to the normal bulbs for brightness, but for softer lighting needs they do a nice job. |

I like that these puck lights are very low profile. Less than 1/16 when installed recessed. They also have a nice wide even light dispirsion. They worked out great in the open shelves I installed them in. Great pice too. |

I have incorporated puck mini lights into several cabinetry designs. The fit, compact design, modern styling, reliability, and most important, CUSTOMER SERVICE,are reasons for continued use of this product. |

Popped the light out of the housing and installed into the top of my cabinets. Including wiring to transformer it took 5 minutes! The hardest part is drilling the hole. Just as advertised. Quick ship. |
