happy with transformer, February 27 2010
Reviewer: carina cooper
I ordered the 60W transformer for my son. He bought a track light at Ikea and the transformer went out. This transformer work perfectly, plus its not as big and heavy as the original one. I am happy we found one. Otherwise, we would have had to install another tracklight.

Small, cool, and easy, October 31 2009

I also ordered these to replace Ikea Sansa transformers. Those ran very hot and the fuses melted within their housing, one by one. These are comparatively tiny, the entire transformer is directly at the plug. The wire is about 3 feet longer than the Sansas. It splits at the end and 2 wire nuts are all that is needed to connect. Very very happy with these. My only wish is that they came in white, but that’s obviously just cosmetic.

Replaced Ikea SANSAs easily, February 27 2009
Reviewer: Rex
Based on earlier review, replaced 2 Ikea SANSA transformers today in a few minutes. One transformer had died after two years. Used electrical twist caps to connect the transformer wiring to the existing Ikea wiring with no problems. The new transformers run much cooler, and they are much smaller. Only minor issue - these transformers have a grounding plug, the Ikea transformers did not. But the new transformers look like much higher quality products.
