I bought this to replace a faulty transformer in one of my halogen flex track fixture. I installed it and it worked perfectly. It is smaller and built much more solid than the transformer that my fixture came with. I would buy it again.

Great transformer! Love the size and efficiency. Also, appreciate that minimum loading isn’t as much an issue with these transformers (they handle small loads great!)

I bought three transformers to supply 14-20W puck lights. (5-4-5) The transformers get to approximately 140 degrees F. driving 100w for 30 minutes. (Warm to the touch - but you can keep your finger on the transformer without discomfort) A good idea is to use a metallic plate as / between the mounting surface if extended use is anticipated. Don’t be fooled with a voltage meter looking for 12VAC on the output wires. Although they drive the lights well, the meter showed a very low voltage (<1 VAC) It was initially puzzling until I actually attached a light. The voltage was still very low although the light was bright. Recommend highly.
